Mail Configuration on iserver

Hi ,
Can we configure Microsoft exchange server for mails on iserver?As it is mentioned in documents "mailinst " utility is there is iserver/bin.But I didn't found any utility and also in one of the threads,I found that it's been wrongly mentioned in documents about the utility.
So is the SMTP configuration is the only possibility ?Plz help

Yes, SMTP is the supported mail protocol in iServer Express. You can always setup Exchange to accept SMTP.

Should be say that the only support is SMTP ? And second thing you said we can always set up SMTP on Exchange ,but my problem is how to set up exchange on iserver ?Can you help me in that

As given in documents there should be "mailinst" utility to register Microsoft mail server ,but as it not there than how should it be registered ?

You do not need to register an Exchange server using the mailinst utility. The mailinst utility is for setting up MAPI credentials to send email. This is not supported in iServer Express.
If your Exchange server is configured to act as sn SMTP server, you enter the SMTP server configuration via iServer Express Configuration Console.
