need to create reportschedule cron task?

maximo 7115 - birt 232. our birt reports are working, but scheduling them is not. do you need to manually create the REPORTSCHEDULE cron task? if so, does anyone have documentation on creating it?
in the admin guide, it's not listed as a 'default' cron task & i do not see it in "Cron task setup". the reporting guides all mention the cron task, but never mention that you need to create it, or any specifics about doing so.

if anyone has a doc ( or name of a doc i could request from ibm ) - please let me know.
