how can i open a url

Hi how can i open a url ..in perl.
ex i am writing a script to open a html page ...located in htdocs directory.
can i say OPEN(/a.html); kind of thing.

Are you executing this perl inside a TeamSite template?

Either way, if you just want to parse HTML, you can just open the filename you want, like:

open(HTML, "/default/main . . . /STAGING/htdocs/index.html") || die "Couldn't open that file $!";

That's pretty simple Perl. Are you trying to do something harder? If you are, try proof-reading your posts and making sure that you are supplying the right kind of information to help us help you.
