designer and runtime deployment

Hello All,
I will have in one machine the birt designer 2.3.2 and in another the birt runtime deploy 2.5. I still don't know which OS i will use. Win or Linux...
Apart from the tomcat 5.5 will i have problems because of the different versions from the designer to the deployer?

You shouldn't have problems because the engine is supposed to run older report designs. If you do run into any problems, please log a bug.
