Evaluation license to run reports expired?

I'm getting an error in "Actuate BIRT Report Designer Professional" evaluation copy that I just installed. The message:

18002: An error occured while generating the report. Your evaluation license to run/view {0} reports has expired. For more information .....

This message comes up when pressing the preview button. I've defined an XML datasource and a dataset. I created a simple sample report with two fields and just tried to preview.

If anyone know how or why this is happening I'd appreciate any help.

That is odd. Try downloading it again to see if you just somehow got a bad copy.

Everything installed fine with no errors. I'm able to try setting up reports and all. No other errors anywhere else so far.
