Adding interactivity to existing reports

Hi I am testing out existing reports built in eclipse with the interactive viewer (trial). I have a simple table with 2 columns ( Date , Name). When I enable the interactive viewer I was hoping I could at least order by date or search for a specific name but i can't seem to be able to do anything. What must I add to my reports in order to take advantage of the interactive viewer??

What browser and browser version are you using? If you are using IE 8, enable compatability mode. Firefox 3.5 support has not been released yet.
