Associate XML as a DCR

Does anyone know how in Teamsite I can associate an XML file with a DCR?

I'm saving all my DCR's with a .xml extension and now want to associate those *.xml files as DCR's

I have not tried this but I would think if we set Extended Attributes on any file same as that of any DCR, then TeamSite should take that file as DCR? TeamSite looks for the extended attributes to know whether the file is a DCR or not. So maybe this should work. Try setting EAs using iwextattr Command line tool and see.

Or maybe I am totally on wrong track.

Akshat, I thought the question was on how to make TeamSite to recognise all .xml files as DCRs..

And the answer is that is is not possible in general terms as DCRs could be anything.

if you need this for templating , while compiling using command line , associate the .xml... it should not be a problem

we just set the Extended Attribute to a Content Type
