Birt support versions

Hi,

I am using birt 2.3.1

I need some information about supporting versions.

Example

PDF version
EXCEL version

1. because i am developing reports using Linux version , when i try to export pdf some PC its asking parameter again instant of opening PDF format.

2. when try to export excel it showing source code instant of columns.

Please provide which version it will support so that i can update my pdf and excel application.

Hi k.purushothaman,

2.3.1 should support both of those outputs just fine. I have not seen this issue before. Is there any way you can reproduce it with the sample database so that I can run the report and see if I get a non-expected output? Thanks.
