export PDF + hide element

Hi,

I use the hide element property in some objects in my report,
it works fine when i generate my report in html format.

But when i try to export in PDF format, the objects are not hidden.

Does anyone already discover this bug?

Can you reproduce this issue with the sample database so that I can run it? Also, let me know what version of BIRT you're using when you post the example. Thanks.

I'm using BIRT version 2.3

I reproduced the issue with the sample database and i found that the objects are not hidden only on PDF export and when these are in the Master page.

If i put the same objects into the layout it works fine for PDF too.

Ah. Yeah. The master page is only created once and then repeated. That's why hiding things in the master page doesn't work.
