mashconfigs and user privileges

Below is our license

My issue is as stated below:
I have 3 users UserA, userB, userC
userA.mashconfig (VSREDWG for userA)
userB.mashconfig (VSREDWG for userB)
userC.mashconfig (VSREDWG for userC)
main.mashconfig(set to NOT SHARE in iServer)
blankcanvas.mashcanvas(All VSREDWG)
mashboard.projectconfig(VSREDWG for all above users)

When any of the above users log into the mashboard app....the default dashboard set to display on the mashcanvas...says "You do not have permission to perform this operation". Obviously at this point they cannot even drag an drop the KPI again...since its the same error.
But the users are able to run other reports(that are not KPI's) via the "Run Report" button .

When I give the users admin privileges...they are able to view these KPI's...however they see all the tabs from all the mashconfigs causing duplication and security issues.

Please advise. How can I get around this? What is causing this?

Nevermind....I did not set appropriate permissions on the report file itself. Brian, thanks to your mashboard demos I was able to solve this issue!
