How do I display Charts in my web application?

Hi All, 
 
I am new to BIRT and trying to integrate BIRT chart in my web application. I looked at follwoing thread.

and found the "Render a Chart in a web application" example in <a class='bbc_url' href='http://www.birt-exchange.org/devshare/interactive-reporting/145-standalone-chart-engine-and-builder-examples/'>Standalone Chart Engine and Builder Examples - Designs & Code - BIRT Exchange</a>. 
 
This example uses some custom webchart.xml file. There is no explanation on how to generate such xml file. 
 
Can any one please share some information on how to create the webchart.xml file for various types of chars like bar chart, line chart, area chart and so on?

have a look at my dev share (dashbirt), this should illustrate how to render standalone charts in a web application using custom tag handler I wrote.
