Installing new Font type

Greetings,

One of my colleagues created a report that uses barcodes. We have the font type file, 39_NoText.tff, on our local machines, however, we need to get the font onto the server so that the people who need the report and don't have the font can access the report.

We are running Tomcat 5.5 on an Ubuntu 8.1 server.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jordan,

Have you put the font on your Ubuntu server yet?

It looks like that with Ubuntu, you used to have to put the file in the folder:

/usr/share/fonts

and then rebuild the font cache with the command:

sudo fc-cache -f -v
