Information Object Designer & MySQL

I'm experimenting with Information Object Designer and iServer Express. I have a sample database in a local MySQL instance. But when I go to create a connection to the database, MySQL is not available as a connection Type. Is MySQL supported in IOD?

Yes, it is supported. You need to update the datasources.xml file located in C:Program FilesActuate10iServeretcdata_integration.<br />

-Update the location tag on line 19 to point to your JDBC Driver<br />
-Uncomment the DatabaseType tag on lines 50 and 51<br />
