Is Birt 2.2.2 compatiable with Java 6?

Hi,

I am currently upgrading my application stack to the latest versions. It currently includes:

JBOSS 4.0.4GA
BIRT 2.2.2
JDK 1.5

I am looking to upgrade to:

JBOSS 5.1.0.GA
BIRT 2.5.1
JDK 6

I am incrimentally upgrading the applications and have hit a snag trying to get my application WAR to deploy in JBOSS 5.1.0.GA. The log is citing errors with launching the Report Engine.

Could this be because 2.2.2 does not work with Java 6?

BIRT 2.2.2 could work with JDK 1.4.2 and 1.5 but not 1.6<br />
