rptdesign is automatically overwritten by older version

Hi all,

do you have similiar trouble as I?
I have report with shared library. I changed something in report and saved, then I changed something in library and saved. When I went back to report, report reloaded and automatically saved. It reloaded not only changes of library but also returned to older version of report.
Now I saw more malicious version of behaviour when I had switched tabs (script, XML source,..) in the top library (without any sared library) it suddenly had reloaded to old version of library!

It's not easy to reproduce because most of time eclipse has correct behaviour. I don't know if it's better because after 2 weeks of work I loose alertness

The first month of work with birt I thought I'm stupid I didn't changed all reports to newer version.

Project with these reports is in cvs and maven enabled. Is there a workaround? I have the newest eclipse-galileo with maven sonatype plugin.

My sollution is very simple but time consuming. I rewrite and save code so long till report doesn't rewrite new code.

I send any log on INFO level if it's possible to switch on for eclipse/birt.

Hi Jan, I have never seen such behavior and cannot reproduce it in the current version of BIRT. I'm using 2.5.1. I use CVS regularly but have not used Maven. If you can get specific steps, please report that with the version of BIRT you are using to Eclipse Bugzilla

thank you for trying. I understand it's very strange behaviour. I will try to create project with this behaviour but I'm skeptical. The behaviour seems to appear randomly. I have seen the behaviour on BIRT version 2.3.2 and now on 2.5.1 
 
I wanted to know if anybody has the same behaviour.
