Russian Characters / Birt Viewer in Russian

Hi,

I'm trying to internationalize my report. The viewer and my properties file work just fine in german, english and french, but I have some problems with russian.

First of all the viewer isn't translated in russian, though I add "__locale=ru_RU" to the url. I copied the files from NLpack2-birt-runtime-2_1_1.zip to the according folders in my viewer, but there is just no change and the Birt Viewer is displayed in english.

Secondly, I have a problem with displaying the text in russian. I have created a properties file in russian. First Eclipse didn't wanted to save the file, bringing the following error: "saving problems some characters could not be mapped using ISO-8859-1". Then I installed the PropertiesEditor plug-in for Eclipse which helped me saving the properties file. But when I am running the report, I still get this kind of characters: "Первые" instead of russian : "Первые ". I tried to set the change the encoding in my browser (firefox) but it doesn't help.
