custom master page doesn't allow elements

Hi,

is it feature or bug? When I change my MasterPage type from US letter(or another) to custom it's impossible to insert any element (grid, label,...) on masterpage.

I need to change width of report because of many columns. Is there another way how to show all columns except changing masterpage type?

What version of BIRT are you using? I don't see the same issue in 2.5.1 at least. Let me know.

You can do 1 thing that set the orientation as Landscape and type as Custom and width & height as per your requirement and set the width of the table as same or less than the width of the Master Page.

Excuse me for so late answer. I haven't notification for this post. 
 
Today I again tried and it's ok. The wrong thing was maybe in filling only width not height.
