Importing data from an excel spreadsheet into BIRT report designer

I was just wondering if anyone knows how to connect to a data source (Excel Spreadsheet) in BIRT report designer?

Hi ithack07,

I'm not sure that there's a way to bring in an excel file for your dataSource. BIRT can do CSV files as input files if you can get the data in a CSV file. I'll have to look into what would have to be done to read in from an Excel file and let you know if I find anything.
