Format of Parameters

Hi,

I have a Report Parameter defined and format as "Custom: ###,##0.00¤", and in the pdf the parameter appears without format.

Someone knows why ?

Can you recreate this with the sample database? Let me know what version of BIRT you're using as well.

Hi,

I don´t understand how recreate it with sample database. It´s a report parameter, not a dataset parameter. The version is 2.3.2. I attach a image of the definition, and the value show in the report is "1203,66" not "1.263,66€" .

I had just meant to create your issue with a report tied to the sample database so that I could run it. I can't run one tied to a database you have, I'll get errors. That's all.

Pico,

BIRT comes with a classic models database for making sample reports. This database can be used to create a report that both of us can run rather than me just having a report connected to your proprietary data to look at that I can't run. If you create a new report design and go to create a new dataSource, you'll see the option to connect to this sample database. Then, you can set up a report parameter how you've got it set up with your report and I can then run this report and see what exactly you're seeing and I can also test with it and if I figure out a solution, I can repost this report back in here for you to save and look at. Hope I answered all your questions about the sample database.

Thanks. I know it, but a Report Parameter depends of the database and the datasource? For example, you can have a report blank without datasources and datasets, create a report parameter with format like the image post before.
and drag the parameter to the layout(That content only the parameter). then the problem is that if you run this report the format mark in the Report Parameter definition page, not appears.
