Hi Roy,
What version of BIRT are you using? This way I can open your report in the correct version. Thanks.

Build id: M20070921-1145
i already searched in the manual, but there's seems to be no solution.

Roy,
Can you tell me what is on the master page that's not showing up, now that I can open your report design and see what you're having issues with? Also, if you can recreate this issue with the sample database, that'd be helpful, as I can run the report that way and try it in different versions to see if that's the issue. Thanks.

Hello mwilliams,
The problem is on the footer of the master page, in the field after.copy.nr.20.1.1, this field is the same one in the layout page, and i used the report item"tabledata" for the binding.
but it doesn't appeared at all in the report viewer.
and another problem is, this report is generated by our ERP LN system, including the data source and binding, and i'm not sure if i can replicate it, but i'll try.
Thanks,
Roy

Roy,
Using a data element in the master page should work for displaying one value. In exception of the "auto-text" items, the master page is not updated. It is created once and reused. The master page would typically show just the first row in that field because of this, I believe. But, you say you're getting nothing at all?

Hello,
yes, the field is actually displayed something, but it's blank spaces, which confuses me because i already define the binding as "tabledata" which refer to the table in the layout.
if there's no sulution for this, i think i need to make the detail layout print some blank spaces for X times, so the layout after detail can go down to look like some footer.
is it possible?
Thanks,
Roy
