Eclipse Plugin - Maximo Report Generator for BIRT Reports

Find attached an Eclipse Plugin for MAXIMO Report Generator. With this Plugin you can use MAXIMO Scripted Dataset with visual SQL-Editor. Start a new MAXIMO Report with Maximo Report Wizard, choose a directory and a MAXIMO Report Template and type in your SQL-Script into Editor. This plugin generates automatically the Open- and Fetch-Method and the Dataset. Find other Info in attached pdf-file.+ 
 
This plugin is open source, just try it and send bug-reports or suggestions for new features :-)

I have been waiting for something like this for a while. What I did was added a new datasource inside of Maximo so I wasn't forced into using the scripted datasource.

I will try this new plugin out and let you know what I find.

i tried with the plugin when i opened the designer with new maximo report or maximo dataset,it is showing error "com.mmkarton.mx7.reportgenerator was unable to load the class com.mmkarton.mx7.reportgenerator.wizards.birtreportwizard"

Hi Siby! Please use Java Version 1.6 for BIRT Designer! 
Download Java 1.6 and start Eclipe with 
eclipseeclipse.exe -clean -vm "C:Javajre1.6.0_05bin"

Thanks a lot chris,now the report template is working fine and i can design the sql editor also,but if i want to create a new dataset,when i open maximo report dataset,it showing error ,I am attaching the error.

Do you want to make a new Report or just add a dataset to an existing one? 
 
To make a new report, you have to provide following project-structure. 
Workspace/ReportDirectory/Reports! 
 
Choose your ReportDirectory and add a new Maximo Report. 
 
To add a dataset to an existing report choose first the reportdesign file and click Add Maximo DataSet...
