PDF visibility issues

Dear BIRT-Community,

even though I've googled for this issue and searched the forums, I couldn't find a solution for the PDF issues:

All my conditions for hiding a column inside a crosstab won't function, cause the PDF shows alll columns, no matter if hided or made visible.

What can I do against it? Any other output is OK.

What version of BIRT are you using?

I'm using BIRT 2.5.1 with eclipse europe as Designer with the integrated pdf-preview. 
 
Our application is based on Pentaho 2.0 and the Stratebi way of integrating BIRT 2.3.1 into pentaho:

If the PDF-issues would only pop up in Pentaho, I would suspect the BIRT 2.3.1 engine, but the issues additionallly occur in the PDF-Preview of the BIRT 2.5.1 Designer.

If you can reproduce this issue with the sample database in either 2.3.1 or 2.5.1, I'll gladly take a look at it.

so, last post before sending myself into holidays

I've created a simple report, set the fields "status" and "customernumber" invisible where the customernumber is 112 ("Signal Gift Stores").

So in my preview, the column is hided and shrinked. In the pdf preview, the column is empty, but not hided. Seems to me as if the pdf just don't accept auto design and forces fixed design.

Any ideas?
