Birt Chart Engine Rendering an Image Without Storing an Image

Hello,

Does anyone know how to dynamically build a chart and output that chart representation into an image without having to physcially store the resulting image?

I'm able to create a chart using the chart engine api and physcially store an image and retrieve it in order to render it in a browser, but I need to take a different approach. I need to create the chart, port it to an image and then show that image in the browser. I would like to avoid having to manage the images on a file share, database, etc and just produce them on demand in the browser.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
