birt frame work updation problem

Hi,

I have update birt-report-framework-2_5_1 from birt 2.3.(linux version)1 as result of that am getting some problems

1. i can create report design but, i can't create dataset.

2. i have deployed report in tomcat while try to access through web application it showing

There is no report design object available in the birt viewer.

Kindly provide information to resolve the problem.

Hi k.purushothaman,

I have not heard of this issue before. Can you try deleting and redownloading BIRT? You could have possibly gotten a bad download somehow.
