Beginner Charting Help
EzraN
I'm relatively new to BIRT and have been having trouble finding help with using the charting engine.
I've got a data set that consists of rows of two dates.
I'd like to create a chart whose x-axis is every day between a startdate and enddate parameter (I'm grabbing those from the user already)
The Y axis would be a count of rows where the X axis date was between the two dates for the row.
I've been hunting around the Internet and playing with charting in BIRT for two days now and have made zero progress on that. If anyone could either give me tips or point me towards a helpful resource I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks!
Ezra

This example works:<br />
<a class='bbc_url' href='

missing dates to chart category / table - Designs & Code - BIRT Exchange</a><br />
<br />
but it is a little bit painful.<br />
<br />
I have not found a cleaner or nicer way to achieve this myself however.<br />

Good luck

Thanks for the tip. I was hoping it would have something more elegant than my usual SQL hack. I'll just restructure my queries rather than relying on BIRT to help fill in the gaps.
