Using variables in a library

Hi,
I'd like to build a masterpage which uses page variables and Javascript very similar to the samples of Jason (Page Script Samples). But I'd like to store that masterpage in a report library. It seems to be impossible because variables can't be defined in a library, isn't it?

I'm using BIRT 2.5.0.

I do not think page variables are supported in a library yet. Can you log a bug to get them put in?
