BIRT Performance Issues with Scripted Data Sets
stuart
I'm having major performance issues with BIRT re-executing data queries. The data comes from 2 scripted data sets. Each report I have usually has a chart and a table. I have tried to minimise multiple data set bindings by creating a Joint data set between these two data sets and using this to supply data to both the table and the chart. However BIRT continues to query the scripted data sets twice. How do I avoid this? Is there an event that fires only once from the report were I can do all my queries and then put the results in the report context to be accessed later by the scripted datasets? Please help ....
I'm using BIRT 2.3.2.2
