Columns Visibility Issue

Hi ppl,

I'm needing help to adjust a columns width in a report design.

I have a report with 7columns, but in some conditions I need to hide some of them.
The problem is, that when I hide any collumn, the report width shrinks!

To be more specific, imagine I have 7 columns each with 1inch (Total = 7inches)
So, now imagine I hide 1 of those 7columns.

What I'm getting as a result is a 6inches table.
But, What I want is the same 7inches table.

Anyone can help me out?

I've tried that already. 
 
My previous value was 100%, but it didn't work either... 
 
Any other suggestions?

Well, I solved the problem.
Not by a pretty way, but at least its solved.

all i have done is to put for example, all the columns with 2inches instead of 1.

It seams that birt has no problems shrinking the column width, but in respect to enlarge columns width, that's another story.
