Charts not showing text in Maximo BIRT Viewer

I need some help here as I am totally stumped. I developed a custom report that uses a few different charts and when I preview in eclipse via the preview button or via the birt web viewer through eclipse the charts look great.

However, when I run the report via Maximo, the charts show square characters instead of the actual text. its like a wingding or something. I tested some of the Out of the box reports that came with Maximo that use charts and those are doing the same thing.

Anyone run into this or know if there is a library or class files missing from the Maximo birt version? Thanks.

The only suggestions I have are to make sure your chart is using AUTO in the format fields.

Double click the Chart
Select Format Chart tab
Click the Value (Y) Series under the Series tree on the left
Click the Labels button
Make sure font is Auto

Click Legen under the Chart Area-->Axis tree on the left
Clikc the Text Format button
Make sure font is Auto

I'm not sure if this will help or not but good luck.
