multiple data elements in single cell

Hi,
I am using BIRT 2.5.1

In my report I want to add more than one data elements in a single cell.
These data elements needs to be arranged horizontally in the cell.
I tried adding multiple data elements in single cell.But the elements are arranged vertically within the cell.

Please advice me on how to resolve this issue.

the simplest way is to use a expression that concatenates your data fields. Another option is the display property of the data elements. Default is set to block which means that BIRT put each element in a new line. You can change it by setting display to inline
