Dynamic Text Problem in Layout View

Hi,

This is quite embarrassing, but when I use dynamic text elements in my reports, which can have expressions with more than 2lines of text, and it breaks my layout.

The problem is that I cannot resize the columns width for less than the necessary space that the dynamic expression needs.
I haven't been able to shrink the dynamic element.

Anyone know how can I solve this?

which version of BIRT do you use? Are you able to build a example report based on the classicModels DB?

I'm using Birt 2.5.1 
Don't know if I explained myself right in my first post, so I decided to attach 2images (the 'before' and 'after' the problem) 
 
Can you help me putting the design just as it was in the "before" image, but keeping the added expression ?
