report design xml

Hi,

I use the BIRT API to change the design at runtime. Sometimes it is helpful to view the report design xml but I am not sure how to do it... maybe thru the ReportDesignHandle or something... any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi mmvpp, Can you explain more on what you are trying to do? Generally you get a report design handle so you can manipulate the design with the exposed APIs. The BIRT rptdesign file itself is just XML and can be viewed in any text editor.
