Adding new methods to datasets

Hi guys,

There are pre-defined methods on datasets like beforeOpen, afterOpen etc.,
Is there any way by which i can define my own methods ? Please let me know the steps.

I am using Eclipse with BIRT plugin.

Hi Omkar,

I would guess that if you had the know how, you could go in to the source code and modify it to add another method. I don't imagine that this will be a simple task though. If I find out more about how to do something like this I'll let you know. Good luck.

Thanks mwilliams, that would be great please let me know, also one more thing, if possible could you tell me if i can include client side javascript in Birt report and how i can do that? I had posted a query on that but did not get any working solution to it.
