ERROR: Didn't understand name directives_file valu

Please help!

Using OD AIX Version 5.5.1 Build 8891 SYM Interwoven 20020531

I'm setting up OD on AIX and deployments that I've previously had success with now error out: "ERROR: Didn't understand name directives_file value .pa-migrate-local.localhost.diff_file" The diff file here can be any deployment as ALL my deployments now error out this way. I'm desperate for help. I'll take any ideas. It seems to be a configuration problem but I dont remember changing anything...

odnodes.xml, odbase.xml, and deploy.cfg are attached.

Did you run a simulated deployment. I seem to recall an issue with lingering diff files in OD 5.5.1 that was fixed in OD 5.6 (which is also available for AIX.)
