Word output office version
sraoj
I went through several posts in this forum and figured out that the Word output produced by BIRT is in office 2003 version in a wordml format, now the latest office 2007 version is openxml format or docx. Does any one know about any java software that can read the office 2003 formatted word file and write it out in office 2007 format.
Are there any plans for future BIRT versions to produce office 2007 formatted output ? any time line ?

Hi Sreenivasa,

I have not seen any plans to move to Office 2007 documents... although Office 2007 can open Office 2003 documents without problem.
