Hiding report parameters from the QueryString

I have a report with several parameters. When the report is run from the application, the BIRT engine call is shown on the URL with the parameters displayed in the querystring. That fails our security needs. Has anyone else needed to show the report without showing the parameter names and values?

By default, the BIRT viewer wont do this. The BIRT engine can be put into any sort of front end, however, that can accept POST variables to pass on to the report engine. I believe the commercial Actuate products do this, and more, as well.
