IV - Document Stream is invalid Exception

I've deployed Actuate Information Console v10 Base on Websphere Application Server 6.1.0.27. When users enable the interactive viewer and then attempt to filter, it sporadically returns an Exception Report Service Exception(Cannot view report. Cause: Cannot view report. Cause: The document stream "QuRs0/GroupInfo" is invalid.). What's interesting is that the filter some of the time. I didn't see anything in the Info Console logs on the WAS server.

Can anyone offer guidance?

We've narrowed down the problem to a faulty report design template in our resource folder. The problem arose after the developer modified the initial report template from a Grid layout to a Table layout. When he reverted back to using a grid, the IV filters worked as designed.
