BIRT in a swing application? Are there better competitive reporting tools for that?

Hello, 
 
i would like to introduce a reporting tool within of a SWING-Application. The reporting tool for viewing of reports have to be integrated in SWING, that is a requirement and there is no other possibility. 
 
I have parameterized reports (with some parameters, also multi-value parameters) which should be opened in SWING (for example JFrame). 
 
Regarding that requirement can BIRT be recommend? Or is better to use JasperReports or other reporting tools? 
 
Till now I only know following possibility:

Please BIRT-experts could you say me, is it recommend using BIRT for viewing reports within a SWING-Framework?
