Report Parameters

Hi all,

I have been working on BIRT since past few months and have recently started to face a strange issue.

The issue is with the report parameters. The report works as long as the parameters are hard coded in the 'parameter' section of the DataSet.

But as soon as I link them to report parameters, the report breaks and nothing is returned. I am not able to trace the source of the problem. I checked the data types and they match on both places as well.

Any help or hint would be highly appreciated.

Hi Abhi,

Can you attach your report design this is happening with in here? Also, let me know what version of BIRT you used to create the report.

Thanks for your time.

I again checked the entire report searching for errors and found that I was passing some unwanted characters along with the parameters.

Once I removed these characters, the report worked fine.
