Multi threading issue.

Hello,
The birt engine sometimes throws StringIndexOutOfBoundsException in a multi threading application.
My application makes multiple MS word doc (wordml xml) file at the same time. The problem is sometimes the engine throws StringIndexOutOfBoundsException exception. When I don't use the thread or make a critical section during the report generation, it works well of course.
I know the birt engine is thread safe, but this error looks like it is not thread safe.
If you know a solution or have any advice, please let me know.

Hello,
I updated the situation. I tested several times about this and I found that the exception is thrown when the data has multiple rows.
I attached the design and test code.
If anyone knows about this, please let me know the solution.

I set this up but did not get the same error as you did. Can you reproduce the error using the sample db and post that report? Also have you tried putting the access to the engine in a synchronized method?

Yes, the error is reproducible and I found the problem.<br />

I reported the bug as below. The problem is the new line static object.<br />

I removed the static object and fixed related codes. After that, it works well.
