Recover extended attr. after renaming HTML files

hi all
i have renamed a set of HTML files. and in the process i have lost exteneded atibutes of some files like dcr name and tpl name ...............

is there any way to recover these.....................attributes

If you published the file into an edition, I would think you could rollback to that edition in a workarea and copy the EAs to the renamed file.

Did you submit the old files (before rename)? You can do a get latest with overwrite.

If you submitted the deletion, you could recreate the old filename again in your workarea (Create a file with the name before rename). Then view history. Only works if you ever submitted the files.

Use the "Copy to Area" under the file pulldown, give it a test first to get a feel for it. Worked for me.
