How to create the reports using Flat File Data Source?

Hi All,
I have requirement. I need to create the reports using a ".csv" file. As per the documentation i came to know that i can do this by using the Flat File Data Source in BIRT. But i didnt find any examples or demonstrations. Can anybody please help me.....

Hi,
The best for you is to simply try it.
In your report, add a new Data Source and choose "flat file"
You will then need to select the folder in which you have the csv file.
At this point, it should already work. You just need to check if your csv file contains the first and second row to define the title and type of data.

Could you please explain with more details where exactly it is not working on your test?

You'll need to change the file location of wherever you save the txt file in the dataSource. Let me know if you have any questions. Hopefully this helps in your scenario.
