Problem of data sources with the birt viewer
abourdon
Hello,
We use the birt viewer version 2.5.1. it is deployed on a jboss application server version 4.2.0 with a JVM version 1.6.0_13.
We have multiple reports (about 100) which are accessible from this application. All the report datasources are defined in a rptlibrary file.
We have 9 different datasources (Oracle, PostgreSQL and DB2).
At birt viewer start, all reports seem to work well.
But after a few hours and many report executions, we get SQL errors like :
"table or view does not exist". The strangest thing is that we get Oracle errors (ORA-00942) on reports using a PostgreSQL datasource. The birt viewer seems to be wrong in the data sources.
The only way to solve the problem is to restart the application.
The problem is really difficult to reproduce on a test environment.
Did anyone already have a similar problem ?
Regards,
Alain
