OpenDeploy: How to ignore a folder on target

Hi,
we do deploys with open deploy.
well, for some reasons (don't ask) we have to do a "full deploy" (everything) sometimes.
my problem is following:
On the target server one folder (subfolder from htdocs) is filled from another machine.It has to be filled first.
When I now do the deploy (sourceFilesystem) OpenDeploy deletes that folder.
How can I tell opendeploy to ignore that folder?
