dynamic assignment of colors in flash charts

Hi everyone!

I have a problem with my flash charts in BIRT Report Designer Professional. I am trying to adjust the color in my flash charts dynamically. So for example I want specific series to have the same color in different charts. However, if the value of one of the series is zero, its color is used for another serie. But I want to assign a certain color to a certain serie. Is there a possibility at all yet to do that?

Hi @all

I hope you understood my problem. All I wanna do is control the colors of the flash pie charts for different views. Is this possible? I heard there will be more options for flash scripting in the next BIRT verion - is that right?

Finally I found a solution. My data consisted of several "0"-Values. I simply changed them to "NULL" and didnt have to filter them out for the pie anymore.
So in the end the color assignment worked fine and each category stayed in the same color.

BUT: For some reason the charts' interaction links dont work properly anymore. It is as if they cant deal properly with null values.

Is there any other way except giving the data null values? Do you have any advise?
