How to get charts in a design using deapi?

I have some code as such:

SlotHandle sh = libhan.getComponents();
Iterator it = sh.iterator();

where libhan is a LibraryHandle previously opened. This gives me a valid iterator over top level components in the library, including any charts which are extended items.

This code:

SlotHandle sh = reportDesign.getComponents();
Iterator it = sh.iterator();

where reportDesign is a ReportDesignHandle, does not work to display the chart items in the report. Does anyone know why? Or if a chart extended item will appear differently if it is in a library as opposed to a design?

Libraries return a flat set of components, but for the reportdesignhandle, you'll need to call getBody() get then traverse the report body structure to find the Chart you're after.
