birt reports cannot run in different pc.

Hi,
Why i cannot run the report from different pc?
I was developed the report from pc A and after certain months i can run the report from pc B but total only appeared. Other cannot displayed. When i rebuild the report back, i can run the report fine.

I am using BIRT 2.1.2 in both PC. 
Is there any possibility to open BIRT 2.1.2 report in BIRT 2.3?

Yes. You should be able to open all your 2.1.2 designs in 2.3. You might want to test them all to make sure they work with any changes that were made between versions.

So, if I edit in 2.3, Can I deploy to maximo 7.1.1.4? Is it works in that Maximo?

What version of BIRT does that version of Maximo use? If it uses 2.1.2, you won't want to edit reports in 2.3 because they won't be able to be run in 2.1.2. In most cases, you can run older reports in a newer version of BIRT, but not the other way around. Let me know if you have questions.

The conclusion is BIRT 2.3 cannot be used for MAXIMO 7.1.1.4.
That means I cannot use any features of later version of BIRT 2.1.2.
This is quite difficult.

So, is there any feature in BIRT 2.2.1 that don't have in BIRT 2.1.2?
May I know whether BIRT 2.2.1 is compatible with MAXIMO 7.1.1.4 or not?

If your Maximo uses 2.1.2, you won't be able to use any higher version to create your reports and use them within Maximo. They will have to be made in 2.1.2 or lower. Now, if you wanted to deploy a higher version of BIRT to an application server, you could probably access these BIRT reports by a URL from your Maximo application. You would have to deploy these reports to the BIRT viewer external to Maximo, but you'd be able to use a newer version of BIRT this way.
