Setup for BIRT Report in Lotus Domino Composite Application

I would like to create a BIRT report for a Composite Application in a Notes Client. During Development I have no access to the Notes Database containing the data for the report, thoug I also would like to reuse the same BIRT report for other Notes Databases.

I have the following question:
How do I set up the Data Source and Data Set, so that I will be able tu use the report in my Composit Application?
