display the date which is greater .

Hi,

In standard report inventory_balance_ tbl.rptdesign in Maximo version 7.1.1.6.

Two columns are display "last issue date" & "last receipt date",
i would like to display the date which is greater by comparing this two date.
Birt report version 2.3.

How can i do that.

You could hide those two fields, create a new Data element and use an expression like below:<br />
<pre class='_prettyXprint _lang-auto _linenums:0'>
if (row["last_issue_date"] > row["last_receipt_date"]) {
row["last_issue_date"]
} else {
row["last_receipt_date"]
}
</pre>
<br />
There is probably a way using the the Visibility properties as well.
