Border visibility

I've got some data elements in a table and these elements have borders individually. I can hide the data fine when a condition is satisfied but the borders remain visible. How can I make the borders disappear as well when the condition is met?

The version I'm using is Eclipse BIRT 2.5.2.v20090925.

Is the border set on the actual element you're hiding? Or on the row?

Yes the border is set on the actual element that gets hidden.
